| Airfare | It is your responsibility to ensure that you have checked all date, time and travel details, as well as your name being correct as per your passport. Once payment is made, any changes to these details are subject to STA Travel and/or airline change rules and fees. Please note, STA Travel online (statravel.co.nz) can only book flights that originate from a New Zealand departure point. We will not honour any flights made on our booking engine that do not start in New Zealand. |

| Payment |
You can complete your booking online using Visa or Mastercard. Please note we are unable to accept Debit Cards online. In the unlikely event of there being a problem with your booking, STA Travel will notify you by email or phone within 48 hours. Your payment will be processed either by the airline you have purchased your flight on, or by STA Travel depending on the airfare you have purchased. If a booking fee applies this may appear as a separate payment to STA Travel on your credit card statement. All prices quoted are not guaranteed until payment has been made in full. |
| Ticket changes |
Changes are subject to availability and are subject to the rules and validity of your ticket - for details check the ticket conditions in the fare rules. Not all fares allow changes, please check your fare conditions carefully. If changes are allowed, a minimum of NZD$100 fee will apply in addition to the airline fees as per the fare rules. By confirming this booking you are accepting the specific ticket conditions relating to your chosen fare. Changes outside the validity of your ticket, for example, to a higher season, a different airline, operator or ticketed route, where these are possible, will result in additional charges on top of standard change fees. Please note if you do not check-in for one of your ticketed flights, additional fees may apply and onward travel may also be cancelled by the airline. If STA Travel becomes aware of any changes to your itinerary made by the airline, we will endeavour to contact you using the email address/phone numbers provided. It is your responsibility to notify STA Travel should any of your contact details change. Nevertheless we strongly recommend that you confirm your flight times with the relevant airline direct at least 72 hours prior to each departure and check your departure times with the airline 24 hours prior to departure to ensure your flight times have not changed. |
| Ticket cancellation | Conditions on airfare cancellations do vary between airlines - for details check the ticket conditions in the fare rules. A minimum cancellation charge of NZD$500 fee will apply in addition to the airline fees as per the Fare Rules. For some fares no refund is available, so check your specific fare rules carefully. By confirming this booking you are accepting the specific ticket conditions relating to your chosen fare. When a refund is available there is a limit to the time in which it may be claimed. If you are not planning to travel, it is your responsibility to cancel the flight directly with the airline or notify STA Travel. Failure to this at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure time may result in airline no-show fees applying before any refund is processed. Please note, refunds can take up to four months to process. |
| Reconfirmation |
Many airlines have chosen not to require formal reconfirmation of their flights however, STA Travel strongly recommends that you contact the airline(s) on which you are travelling at least 72 hours before your scheduled departure to check that your flight is operating as indicated on your ticket. STA Travel has no control over, and cannot accept responsibility for, the imposition of schedule changes or cancellation of your flights by the airline. You should check the current status of your flights at http://www.virtuallythere.com/. We strongly recommend that this is done 24 hours before the scheduled departure time printed on your ticket or confirmation email. Your SABRE Reservation Code is a 6-letter code which can be found on your confirmation email. |
