Global Hit Squad
Way back in 2007 a group of lads sat around a pizza in Waitomo and decided that in 4 years time they should go on a European road-trip together.
Now, in 2011, that road trip has grown to cover almost the entire globe - as James, Jamie, Paul and Si hand in their notice and spend the year hitting up 49 countries for all they are worth!

Follow their progress through their blogs, video blogs and photo albums - from 'shot-ski' in Canada to trying to woo the locals on a Guatamalan dancefloor, and an unfortunate case of Dengue Fever in Mexico plus plenty more adventures... So buckle up, because 2011 is sure to be a hell of a ride!

Every great city has an equally great night life, and Barcelona is no a exception to that rule. After spending the day walking between Gaudi's incredible buildings, the picture perfect waterfront and the Picasso quarter, its pretty awesome to be able to unwind with a nice cheap bottle of plonk at your chosen accomodation. When the chatter of annoying youngsters at the hostel gets too much though, a little wander down to one of the town squares reveals numerous hippies and party goers alike sipping and smoking the night away. Theres nothing quite like lying down in the middle of a square in Barcelona and watching the world go by. Beauty is definitely abundant. |

After a few weeks of couch crashing in England, we have had to remember how to do this whole travel thing properly again. Hostels in Europe can be quite pricey unfortunately (especially in the bigger cities), so we have chucked a tent in the back of our Peugeot wagon and every second night throw it up wherever we are on the road. |
