Our online travel insurance that you can purchase with your international flight is the Essentials policy. View the full Policy wording and schedule of benefits here. The insurance is only available to purchase with your flight if you are:
- 59 years old or younger (please ensure you select the correct policy type for your age bracket)
- Have no pre-existing medical conditions
- You are a permanent resident of New Zealand and will be returning to Your Home at the completion of the Period Of Insurance and within 12 months of the Journey commencing
- You are not aware of any circumstance which is likely to give rise to a claim.
The policy gives your worldwide cover including working holidays if you're planning on heading off on your OE. You'll even be covered for soft adventure activities such as white water rafting and skdiving. Please read Policy Wording for conditions, limits and exclusions.
The excess for this policy is $100.
