Little Hotel~Better Than I Thought It Would Be

If you're on a budget and need an inexpensive and convenient place to stay, this is it. While it is OLD and needs a SERIOUS UPDATING, I will never forget the fact that I was able to leave my backpack in the hotel lobby for 9 hours while I went sight seeing and it wasn't even moved! I'm from New York and this is completely unheard of. For that simple reason I would recommend this hotel. The sheets are old, the carpet was old, the overall hotel seriously needs a renovation, but there is a free simple breakfast available which is a plus and I really was impressed by the fact that I was able to trust the staff with my backpack. That really meant a lot to me. I recommend learning a few French phrases and speaking to the staff in French whenever possible. I say this to all first time visitors to Paris, but I particularly recommend it for visitors of this hotel. So while I've stayed in much nicer hotels before, this was perfect for my short stay especially because I was on a strict budget.

First about cleanliness: It is dirty, and very much unclean. It does NOT have the lounge as shown in your website. We stayed three days and I can say they emptied the waste bin only once and for sure the bed linen and duvets are being used by many travellers before and after me. Breakfast: When they advertise bed and breakfast, we expect good quality food with good portion. All we got is one very small bread and a croissant. My aged Dad can not eat outside food and when he requested for another bread, the lady refused rudely and made a bad gesture. Apparently she is the only worker who takes care of room cleaning also. Apparently they were giving some kind of yellowish juice which I later discovered to be kept for ages and will not be allowed anyway in UK. I had a friend who came to see me. The reception person stopped him from entering and without any reason. I must say it is not value for money at all and we could have better stay with any hostels. Also, I strongly protest puting glitzy pictures of lounge of the hotel which is clearly not theirs. STA travels must ensure the quality they promise before offering to tourists.

we went to see the final stage of the tour de france and were not disappointed. We purchased a 5-day travel pass for the metro so got to see much of Paris. Best place to eat for good value was the Italian quarter ,south of the seine below notre dame. We (& we are both 65yrs old) wanted to climb the eiffel tower by foot but were disappointed that you can no longer do this as you have to take a lift from the second level and due to the queue we did not bother. All in all thank you STAR travel for your assistance in planning our delightful week-end.

Little Hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. We had a balcony looking out to the street below, perfect for summer street watching/ wine with someone special under the stars. Despite the poor service we got, I'd say it's excellent value for money considering that we got all that plus an en-suite bathroom.

The Little Hotel was right smack bang in the center of the Jaques Bosergent area 3 mins (more like 1 min) from the Metro. It's a great little area that is only 2 stations away from the main parts of Paris. You can also walk leisurely to the Louvre, Notre Dame etc. There are some great local shops and bakerys around and it's close to some lovely eateries. The only negative is that the wi-fi is advertised as free but it has a small fee which wasn't too bad.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The location, while not central, was still very convenient.
