It was wasn't a bad hotel, it had nice, big rooms that were always clean. Not a bad location but it isn't too close to the main beach where everybody goes, which means that you would have to get a tuk tuk there and back which is incredibly expensive, so unless you're up for a walk to the beach everyday, be prepared to pay heaps on transport. The hotel staff had pretty poor English and were very unhelpful, and at times were somewhat rude. You cannot rely on them for useful information or to make transport bookings for you. They did not advise me that there would be construction going on while i would be there so when i asked to be moved to a quieter part of the hotel they actually downgraded my room so i felt very inconvienienced and ripped off. It's also very family orientated so if you're young and looking to have fun, hit the beach and party, I definitely definitely would NOT recommend this hotel. For that price, you really can find much better.

Relax amongst the forrest

The staff were always extremely helpful and friendly. It is a relaxing hotel with a beautiful forrest setting. Relaxing by the pool and the ease of getting into the main street was fantastic. The hotel is not too far from Bangla rd, and a short walk to the beach, very good location.

It was a five minute walk from the centre of Patong Beach. This turned out to be perfect as we could easily walk to the market and restaurants but stayed out of the town noise.
The accomodation was affordable and clean and friendly. Tours were also happy to pick us up from this location.
It was very enjoyable.

Patong Lodge Hotel was a great place to stay if you dont want to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of Patong its about 15 minute walk from the center of Patong. Th pool was great for lazing away the jetlag!!
