Am I Eligible?

In order to be eligible for an ISIC, you must be:
1) A full time student in further or higher education, studying for at least 12 weeks per year, with 15 hours of contact time per week, or
2) In full time secondary education aged 12 years and above.
3) An ISIC card is also available to any student that is homeschooled in New Zealand as long as they provide a copy of an exemption certificate from the Ministry of Education.

To prove this you must complete an application form that is signed and stamped by the principal or registrar or provide a signed and dated letter on education establishment letterhead that clearly confirms the applicant is "currently studying as a full-time student". Both these forms of evidence must be dated within one month of your application.
