Check out St. Jerome's Laneway Festival happening on Auckland Anniversary Day, Monday 30 January 2012. What better place to host a festival than the newly opened Silo Park in Wynyard Quarter, Auckland City, complete with awesome bands, boutique pop-up restaurants, food and market stalls plus art installations by local artists. This three-year old festival is all about bringing what is fresh and great, and bringing to you the music lover, in a unique setting.
This years line up includes Feist, The Horrors, Gotye, Laura Marling, Pajama Club, SBTRKT (Live), Shayne P. Carter, Washed Out, Twin Shadow, Anna Calvi, M83, Cults, Girls, Ema, Yuk, Toro y Moi, Wu Lyf, Glasser, Opossom, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Austra and the Transistors. The festival has a history of featuring relatively unknown acts that have gone on to have major international success shortly after the festival announcement - so take your place centre stage.
