So far some of our travellers have had their deals sweetened with a free night's accommodation at their first stop, a free Lonely Planet guide, a free day tour or a free airport transfer! So what's the deal you ask? Here it is in three easy steps!
1. Bring into an STA Travel branch or phone us with your written travel quote on the same day (as per the conditions below). Phone enquiries require you to scan and email your quote to us but we'll explain all that when you call. This time-saving promise is not just limited to your airfare either, it includes your entire travel arrangements including tours, accommodation, travel insurance and more.
2. We'll check out the quote and make sure it's able to be booked at STA Travel as per your itinerary. If everything is all good, we'll not only match your deal, but we'll sweeten it as well!
3. You pay your travel deposit, then sit back and relax knowing you scored a great deal.

We'll sweeten it deal conditions:
- The itinerary must be available to be booked at the price quoted at the time of presenting the competitor quote.
- Valid for any international itinerary (excluding trans-Tasman) for travel on the same dates, flights, destinations and airlines as the written competitor quote.
- Applies only to quotes from New Zealand registered businesses and websites for travel originating in New Zealand.
- The lowest price guarantee applies specifically to all travel deals valid to the general public (does not include exclusive offers to special subscriber or
membership groups). - Is not applicable on travel if any airfare included in the quote includes a low cost carrier such as, but not limited to, Jetstar, Pacific Blue and AirAsia.
- Quote must be in writing and presented to STA Travel the same day it was made by the competitor.
- The deal will be valid against the initial competitor quote only. We will not enter into an ongoing price negotiation.
- The deal offered by STA Travel must be accepted the same day by paying a minimum $150 deposit (or full payment, whatever is lesser).
