Lombok is the ultimate island for relaxing. Known as Bali's "quiet neighbour", Lombok offers a tranquil atmosphere, which makes it such an ideal place to unwind. If you want to go exploring, you can check out the island's lush green rice paddies, cascading waterfalls and active volcanoes.

You can find meals for as little as $2 in Bali or treat yourself to sefront dining in Seminayak where you can expect to pay $10 per meal. The less touristy the restaurant, the cheaper the meal.
Taxis cost roughly $1.30 per mile so it's an easy and cheap mode of transport. From $75 a day you can even hire a driver to give you a private tour of the island.
Transport is cheap in Bali whether you choose to travel by bus, car or ojek (motorised taxi). Many drivers are used to bargaining, so you can test out your bargaining skills.
Dorm rooms in hostels aren't all that common in Bali, but good if you want to travel Bali on a budget. Expect to pay roughly $15 for a dorm room, and $30 for a single room per night
