CANCELLATION & LUGGAGE TRAVEL INSURANCE

If you’re not worried about medical and dental insurance while you’re travelling and just want super basic cover, then our Cancellation & Luggage policy could be for you. You can get this cover for just $50, but you must be a resident of New Zealand and on a return ticket from New Zealand and back again.

    While the cover is basic, you’ll be pleased a Nil Excess applies to all policy sections if you do have to claim.

    As well as cancellation fees you’re also covered for any lost deposits too.

Choose the right travel insurance policy for your trip

Cancellation and luggage travel insurance is a good policy to buy as soon as you book your flights so that you’re covered if anything happens before your trip. However, please be aware it only covers you for your luggage and cancellation costs - and does not include any medical or dental cover while you travel.

However, it's easy to upgrade your travel insurance to a Basic or Comprehensive policy before you head off on your travels. These policies include generous overseas medical and dental cover, automatic inclusion for heaps of additional activities at no extra cost, working holiday cover, plus lots more.
